The Cyber Security Implications of a Genocide
(and why LinkedIn is the right platform for this topic)
The Cyber Security Sector in Israel - at a glance
Israel has a developed high-tech sector with huge investments in machine learning, cyber-security, big data, and connectivity.
As of April 2023, there were 9,093 tech companies, ranking Israel's startup ecosystem as the third largest globally after San Francisco and New York.
Right at the heart of this sector, providing a link between the military, academia, and industry, is an IDF unit called Unit 8200.
Unit 8200 is a central part of AMAN (Military Intelligence Directorate), the equivalent of the NSA in the United States (SIGINT). But, relative to the entire population of each country, Unit 8200 is about six times larger than NSA.
You know the "5 Eyes"? Israel is the 6th eye? No, Israel is the second eye

“Working in a startup is very similar to being in an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) unit”
Former soldiers of Unit 8200 have gone on to found many high-tech companies, among them:
Verint (spin-off from Comverse)
And now, the important bit:
IDF had detailed plans of Oct.7 attack ONE YEAR PRIOR and was warned by Unit 8200 analyst in July 2023
A blueprint reviewed by The Times laid out the attack in detail.
Israeli officials obtained Hamas’s battle plan for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack more than a year before it happened, documents, emails and interviews show.
Hamas followed the blueprint with shocking precision.
Then, in July, just three months before the attacks, a veteran analyst with Unit 8200, Israel’s signals intelligence agency, warned that Hamas had conducted an intense, daylong training exercise that appeared similar to what was outlined in the blueprint.
But a colonel in the Gaza division brushed off her concerns, according to encrypted emails viewed by The Times.
Why did IDF dismiss overwhelming evidence?
Does it have anything to do with the expressed intent to annex Gaza, Lebanon, and other territories? This intent was expressed widely both in military and religious circles.
Speaking of Gaza, speaking of Lebanon, and other countries we will occupy in the future (...) quantity(deaths- n.a.) is more important than quality. These people were born to die. We just have to help them.

Templar chief rabbi: Ben-Gvir will take power, Israel will take Egypt, Jordan & Syria
The influence of this movement on Israeli leadership is too much overlooked.
If the tech sector in Israel is run by kahanists wanting to 'cleanse' the land of Arabs, Christians, and Armenians and rooting for war and territorial expansion - this will have a significant adverse effect on the international business climate. Businesses - and humans - develop best in cooperation, mutual respect, and trust.
Posting concerns about the current situation on LinkedIn is the right thing to do: we will have to work this out, as the leaders of our countries are all playing outside the boundaries of common sense and unwritten human laws that MOST of the people on this planet embrace.
Most of the people on this planet want to live in peace. The overwhelming majority. Why do we have to listen to people who try to convince us that bombing children, women, and men of all ages indiscriminately is the only way?
When did those with clout become so arrogant to demand us to be silent when our brothers, mothers, and sisters are killed by the thousands for reasons that are not investigated properly?
Anyone with a heart would require an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
And an investigation into October 7 by an international team: too many questions, too many IDF soldiers saying it is an inside job. Most importantly, there was proven foreknowledge and publicly expressed intent of expansion and annexation way before the attack.
We should move past uncertainty in regard to this - and focus on effective actions to stop this massacre.
There is consistent evidence indicating that Israel's intention was, from the start, to annex Gaza and exterminate Palestinian life, not to fight Hamas.
There is also enough evidence to conclude that the October 7 was not a security failure but a well-planned operation executed with the help of unwitting radicalized Palestinians, aimed to:
crush internal opposition, save the current government, catalyze the people to fight a common enemy;
provide an excuse for the planned invasion and annexation, and achieve geo-strategic milestones;
provide ammo for propaganda war on the west front: in public space (see Piers Morgan, MSM repetitive, shallow discourse); and in closed channels: The video material is screened to political leaders and key actors (Elon Musk) as a means to get them in-line with next steps that raise morally concerned, and to silence any 'voice of conscience' some actors might still have (.....)
I would argue that the business implications of the ongoing genocide are important enough to raise this issue among colleagues and on a business platform.
† For all the innocents who lost their lives in this man-made disaster. For them, and for our children, those responsible should be investigated.
